You Move, We Mow Challenge Returns – Step Up Today!

Project EverGreen proudly announces the return of the GreenCare for Troops You Move, We Mow Challenge, a nationwide fundraiser that supports deployed military personnel by providing free lawn and landscape services for their families.

During GreenCare for Troops Awareness Month, we’re challenging you to log 19,000 steps between June 22-28 – whether by walking, running, biking, or hiking. It’s a simple yet impactful way to show appreciation for our service members while promoting healthy, green spaces in our communities.

You Move We Mow Challenge - Project EverGreen

The first 100 registrants of the You Move, We Move Challenge receive a limited-edition Project EverGreen baseball hat.

Why Join the Challenge?

  • Support military families who sacrifice so much for our country
  • Promote a greener, healthier, and cooler Earth
  • Improve your own well-being while giving back

“Behind every uniform is a family that serves alongside them,” says Ki Matsko, program manager for GreenCare for Troops. “By participating, you’re showing these families that their sacrifices are seen, valued, and never forgotten.”

How to Get Involved:

What Participants Have to Say

“We took the top spot in last year’s inaugural You Move, We Mow initiative with Project EverGreen. Our team loved combining movement—whether walking, running, biking, or hiking—with teamwork and a great cause. This initiative sparked an ongoing series of mobile meetings, keeping us active while supporting military families. We’re proud to back Project EverGreen and can’t wait to defend our title this year!”

— Beth Berry, Advanced Turf Solutions

“We can run, walk, bike, etc. at our free will because of the sacrifices of our military members and their families. Participating in the You Move, We Mow Challenge is a small effort to recognize and show appreciation for those sacrifices while supporting and raising awareness of the GreenCare for Troops program.”

— Sarah Spatola, Arborjet | Ecologel
