Up For A Challenge? GreenCare for Troops Announces Recruiting Challenge to Attract New Volunteers

Project EverGreen - T-Shirt

Earn A Free GreenCare for Troops Limited Edition T-Shirt When You Refer A New Volunteer Before July 31, 2018

On the heels of its successful GreenCare for Troops Awareness Week, Project EverGreen announces a recruiting challenge and commemorative T-shirt offer to attract new volunteers.

The limited edition “Service Is In Their DNA” T-shirt will be available until July 31, 2018 and a portion of every sale will go to support the program that provides basic lawn care and landscape services for thousands of military families and post 9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities.

GreenCare for Troops, which celebrates its 12th year in 2018, has seen more than 11,000 military families and veterans register to receive an estimated $8 million in donated lawn care and landscape services from more than 6,000 green industry professionals.

“Just think, if every lawn and landscape company volunteered to help at least one military family, what a powerful message of giving back that would send,” says Cindy Code, executive director of Project EverGreen. “The GreenCare for Troops program creates an environment for military families and disabled veterans to heal, reflect and re-connect with their loved ones.”

Nufarm is the presenting partner for GreenCare for Troops. Platinum partners include The Toro Companyand SiteOne Landscape Supply.

New volunteers can register and purchase the one-of-a-kind T-shirts for themselves and their entire crew on the GreenCare for Troops web page.

Already a GreenCare for Troops volunteer? Recruit a new volunteer between now and July 31, 2018 and you’ll both receive a T-shirt.
