Support Military Families Through GreenCare for Troops

You Move, We Mow Challenge

When a service member is deployed, life at home doesn’t slow down. Lawns and yards become one more stress for families already carrying a heavy load.

That’s where you come in.

Join the You Move, We Mow Challenge during GreenCare for Troops Awareness Week (June 21–27, 2026). Commit to moving 20,000 steps through walking, running, biking, hiking, cutting the grass (you get the idea) in honor of 20 years of service – and turn your movement into real support.

Every step you take and every dollar you raise helps provide free lawn and landscape services (like mowing) to military families – creating safe, healthy outdoor spaces where kids can play and families can recharge.

Move with purpose. Make an impact.

Register. Share. Step up.

Military families are serving. Let’s support them – one yard, one step at a time.

”When my spouse deployed, everything fell on me. It was a lot. GreenCare for Troops took one huge worry away. I didn’t have to worry about the yard at all. That peace of mind meant everything. My kids could play outside, and I could just focus on getting through the days. GreenCare for Troops didn’t just take care of our yard; they took care of us.”  – Military family spouse
