Howard Park to Receive A Free State-of-the-Art Ballfield Renovation on Sunday, January 12
More than 100 Project EverGreen, STMA and local volunteers are teaming up at Howard Park in W. Palm Beach to give aspiring youth and adult athletes and neighborhood residents a professionally renovated softball field. Volunteers including sports field managers, lawn care professionals, landscape contractors and groundskeepers will assist with the afternoon-long transformation.

What You Need to Know
WHO: Project EverGreen, a national non-profit devoted to creating a greener, healthier, cooler Earth; the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA), the City of West Palm Beach Parks & Recreation Department and local businesses.
WHAT: More than 100 volunteers are teaming up at Howard Park in W. Palm Beach to give aspiring youth and adult athletes and neighborhood residents a professionally renovated softball field. Volunteers including sports field managers, lawn care professionals, landscape contractors and groundskeepers will assist with the afternoon-long transformation.
WHEN: Sunday, January 12, 2020
1:00 p.m. – 1:20 p.m. Brief program to kick-off project. Speakers include:

1:20 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Ballfield renovation. Please note, the best visuals for the media will take place from 1:20 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. when renovation work will take place.
