GreenCare for Troops Celebrates Military Families and Volunteers in June

The nationwide program celebrates military families and volunteers in June and formally recognizes June 19-25, 2022 as National GreenCare for Troops Awareness Week.
Golf Classic Will Be A Hole In One for Project EverGreen
Project EverGreen announces the date of its inaugural golf classic to support its mission of a creating a greener, healthier, cooler Earth. The outing will be held on August 29, 2022 at the Lochmere Golf Club in Cary, North Carolina.
Registration and lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Registration is $125 per golfer and $500 for a foursome. All registered golfers receive 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, post-round reception, gift bag, and non-alcoholic beverages. The deadline for registering is August 22.
Sponsorships are also available for companies looking to support the Project EverGreen mission.
“We are excited to combine the passion our volunteers and donors have for golf and the great outdoors with supporting Project EverGreen’s mission to create a greener, healthier, cooler Earth,” said Cindy Code, executive director of Project EverGreen. “The work that is done to grow a healthier green space footprint through the GreenCare for Communities and GreenCare for Troops initiatives benefits communities and military families across the country.”
